Ward was born in MonroeLouisiana on April 15,1976. She attended the private Christian elementary school called Monroe Christian School. After completing the requirements for high school and then attending River Oaks High School in the summer of her junior-year. In the school, she was a part of the dance and drill team. A short time after her graduation, she enrolled at Northeast Louisiana University. In the year she turned thirteen, old, Ward began modeling, leaving school and moving to New York in order to accomplish this. After a few years, she decided to also try acting. In the 1970s, she played an uncredited character in the show All My Children. A couple of years later, she was cast for the NBC primetime teen drama Malibu Shores. The daytime soap Sunset Beach cast Ward as the female Meg Cummings in late 1996. In 1999, her movie career started by playing Brittany Foster (the psychotic Brittany Foster) in the erotic-thriller The In Crowd. It wasn't a major movie in theaters however, it was a huge success with home-video and cable. Ward played a part on screen in Shallow Hal in the year that followed, and played a supportive role. Ward has also appeared in a variety of direct-to-DVD films and made guest appearances in various TV shows including Friends. The ABC Family Drama show Make it or break It's primary team for its initial two years, Chloe Kmet played the mother of young gymnast in 2009. In her private life she was married to David C. Robinson. The couple was blessed with a son who was named Cameron.

She has also starred in six seasons on the television series Dr. Pimple Popper which was telecast on TLC.
